Booked in the messages, lost in the mess
Quotes and bookings live in txts, calls and WhatsApp threads. Nothing lands in one place, so things fall through the cracks on busy weeks.
Mouswerk runs your daily operations — quoting, scheduling, dispatch and invoicing. Otto and your AI team do the work; you review and approve. It learns your business and gets sharper every week.
For trades, transport, hire, field service — and any business that quotes, schedules and invoices. No API keys. No jargon. No setup headaches.
Runs booked over txt. Jobs juggled on WhatsApp. Paper dockets lost under the seat. The work happens in the real world — but if it never makes it into a system, no invoice goes out and nobody notices until the money's gone.
Quotes and bookings live in txts, calls and WhatsApp threads. Nothing lands in one place, so things fall through the cracks on busy weeks.
The job's delivered, the docket's in the truck — somewhere. By the time the office chases it, half the detail's gone.
You don't lose money on the jobs you invoice. You lose it on the ones you never invoice — and right now, nothing is counting those.
Mouswerk closes the gap between messy real-world comms and clean records. One loop, driven by your AI team, with you approving each step.
An enquiry comes in — txt, email, phone note. Frankie drafts the quote from your prices.
You approveQuote accepted becomes a job — customer, site, assets and rates all carried across, nothing re-typed.
You approveDash slots it into the day — the right people and gear assigned, live job sheets on their phones.
You approveJob done, Archie drafts the invoice with the proof attached — and chases it if it goes unpaid.
You approveEach one handles a slice of the day you currently do at night. They ask before they act — until you trust them.
Operations manager
The brain that ties it together. Watches the whole day, spots what's missing, and briefs the others.
Front desk
Handles enquiries, drafts quotes from your pricing, and turns accepted quotes into bookings.
Dispatch
Builds the schedule, assigns the right people and gear, and keeps live job sheets on every phone.
Accounts
Raises invoices the moment work's done, attaches the proof, and politely chases the slow payers.
Every AI worker starts at level zero: it asks permission for everything. As it proves it produces clean, correct work, you turn the dial up — one worker, one task at a time. Wind it back whenever you like.
Every action waits in your approvals inbox. Nothing moves without you.
Work is prepared and queued — one tap to approve and send.
Trusted, repeat tasks run on their own. Anything unusual still comes to you.
The worker owns the task end to end and gives you a clean daily summary.
One adaptable system that learns how your business works. Trades, transport, hire and field service are examples — if you quote work, schedule it and invoice it, Mouswerk can run it.
Mouswerk already runs the core of a small operation: customers, type-aware assets with smart reminders, quote → job → invoice with branded PDFs, an AI chat that answers from your live business data, and an approvals inbox that keeps you in charge of all of it. Industry tools switch on per business — a transport operator sees a driver portal; a plumber or hire company sees a different set.
"Built by an operator who was sick of doing jobs that never got invoiced." — the FlexEquip story, read why we built it.
Approve an invoice and it flows straight into your accounts — no double entry. Connect your own account in a click: no API keys, and Otto never sees a password.
Push approved invoices and contacts to Xero, reconciled — without the double-handling.
Sync invoices and customers to Cashflow Manager for GST and accounts.
Send quotes and invoices from your own email — with more connections on the way.
Get early access and we'll show you Otto running a business like yours in 20 minutes — your customers, your prices, your trucks.
Get early accessMouswerk turns messy, real-world comms into clean records: quote → job → schedule → invoice. Your AI team drives each step. You review and approve until you're happy to let it run.
A customer txts "any chance you can sort the hot water cylinder this week?" That used to live in your pocket. Now Frankie picks it up, matches the customer and your pricing, and drafts a proper quote — ready in your approvals inbox. Same story whether you're a plumber, a hire yard or a two-truck cartage outfit.
The moment a quote's accepted, it's a job — customer, site, rates and gear carried straight across. Dash slots it into the day, assigns the right person and the right kit, and puts a live job sheet on their phone.
Whoever's doing the job records it in the moment, on a phone, with big targets built for a work-gloved hand: photos, notes, time, materials, signatures. Transport operators can switch on the optional driver portal — a mobile run sheet with a daily vehicle check based on NZTA's published pre-trip guide, and a work-time record that follows NZ rules. Other trades see their own tools instead.
Archie raises a branded invoice the moment the job's complete — photos, dockets, extras and signatures attached, so there's nothing to argue about. If it goes unpaid, Archie drafts the chase-up and waits for your nod.
Your AI team starts by asking permission for everything. Every approval teaches it your rates, your customers, your way of doing things. When a worker keeps producing clean, correct work, you raise its level — L0 to L3 — one task at a time. That's the deal: trust is earned, not assumed.
Everything comes to your approvals inbox. You'll tweak a few rates and reject the odd draft — that's the point.
Drafts start arriving right first time. Routine quoting and invoicing move to one-tap approvals.
The routine runs itself and reports back daily. Anything unusual — or anything that moves money — still waits for you.
Get early access and we'll walk you through quote-to-invoice with your kind of jobs — it takes about 20 minutes.
Get early accessOne missed invoice can cost more than a month of Mouswerk. An admin hire costs ten times more. Launch pricing below — in NZD, no lock-in, cancel any time.
$399 /month NZD
For solo and very small operators getting the paperwork off their plate.
$799 /month NZD
For growing teams running multiple trucks, crews or assets every day.
$1,299 /month NZD
For established operations with higher volume and more moving parts.
Launch pricing, GST exclusive. Early-access operators keep their launch rate.
Two forgotten jobs a month at $450 each is $10,800 a year gone. A part-time admin hire is $25,000+. Mouswerk's job is to make sure every job done is a job billed — and to give you your evenings back while it's at it.
It starts with zero autonomy: every quote, message and invoice waits for your approval, so mistakes get caught in your inbox — not in front of a customer. Nothing that sends or moves money ever happens without your say-so, at any level. You raise a worker's autonomy only after it's proven itself, and you can wind it back any time.
You do. Your customers, pricing, jobs and invoices are your business's records. Export them whenever you like. If you leave, they leave with you.
No. Month to month, cancel any time. We'd rather earn your business every month than trap you in a term.
Log in, add your customers, your pricing and your gear, and start working — most operators are running their first jobs the same day. No API keys, no consultants, no jargon. Your AI team learns the rest as you go.
It helps you keep on top of it. Smart reminders track WOF, COF, rego, RUC and service dates on your assets, and transport operators can switch on an optional driver portal with a daily vehicle check based on NZTA's published pre-trip guide and a work-time record that follows NZ rules. To be clear: Mouswerk isn't certified or endorsed by NZTA or any regulator, and the work-time record isn't an approved electronic logbook — these are helpers for meeting your own obligations.
Mouswerk is made for non-technical operators. If you can send a txt, you can run it. Everything lands in one inbox with plain-English explanations, and the early-access crew get direct help from the team that built it.
Get early access and we'll recommend the right fit after seeing how your jobs actually run — no hard sell.
Get early accessMouswerk didn't come out of a startup incubator. It came out of a yard — trucks, gear, drivers, and a paperwork problem that was quietly eating the margin.
Mouswerk was built inside FlexEquip, a working NZ equipment and cartage business. Same story as yours, probably: jobs booked over txt and phone calls, run sheets on paper, dockets in the cab, invoicing done at night when there was energy left for it — which some weeks there wasn't.
The moment that started all this was an ordinary one. A job got done — booked in a message thread, dispatched with a phone call, delivered without a hitch. And it never got invoiced. Nobody stole anything, nobody stuffed up on purpose. The job just never made it from the real world into the system, so the money never made it into the account. And once you spot that gap, you start seeing it everywhere.
The existing software didn't fix it. Job management apps are mostly forms — they still rely on a busy human to stop, open the app, and type the job in. The gap between how work actually arrives (a txt at 6:40am) and how software wants it entered (a form with eleven fields) is exactly where the money leaks.
Otto is an AI operations manager. It reads the messy real world — the txts, the enquiries, the run sheets — and does the recording, quoting, scheduling and invoicing itself. With Frankie on the front desk, Dash on dispatch and Archie on accounts, the whole loop runs without an owner having to become a data-entry clerk at 9pm.
And because we're operators, we built the trust part the way we'd want it: your AI team asks before it acts. Every action waits for your approval until a worker has proven it does clean, correct work. Nothing that sends or moves money ever happens without your say-so.
Give small operators — the one-truck cartage outfits, the three-person trade crews, the family hire yards — an AI team that runs the boring, money-losing admin, so the people who do the actual work get paid for all of it and get their evenings back.
And while the origin story is trucks, Mouswerk isn't a trucking product — the same loop runs a plumber's week, a hire yard's bookings or a service crew's callouts. One standardised core adapts to each business, with optional industry modules on top (transport operators, for example, can switch on a driver portal with a vehicle check based on NZTA's published pre-trip guide and a work-time record). It's made in New Zealand, for how work runs here first. Australia and beyond are next.

Mouswerk works for most small asset and service businesses — anyone who quotes work, schedules it and invoices it. The four below are worked examples, not the whole list. Pick the closest to see how it adapts.
Quotes from your price book, charge-up captured on site, and invoices chased — for plumbers, sparkies and builders.

Get early accessHow Mouswerk adapts to NZ cartage, tipper and general freight operators: txt bookings become scheduled runs, dockets get captured on the driver's phone, and the invoice is drafted with proof attached — with helpers for the WOF, COF, rego and RUC paperwork.
The load's delivered, the docket's in the cab, and by invoice day nobody can read the weight. Mouswerk captures dockets as photos on the run — attached to the job the moment they exist.
Trucks and jobs on a whiteboard that's out of date by 8am. Dash keeps a live board and puts run sheets on drivers' phones — changes reach the cab, not the windscreen.
You drive all week and invoice all weekend. Archie drafts each invoice the day the job's done, dockets attached, ready for your one-tap approval.
Here's what your AI team runs for a cartage operation, with you approving each step until you trust it.
"4 loads GAP40 to the farm thurs" — Frankie turns the txt into a quote at your cartage rates.
Dash assigns truck and driver, checks nothing's due for service, and sends the run sheet to their phone.
Weighbridge docket photos, sign-on-glass, work-time recorded — captured load by load.
Archie drafts the invoice from actual recorded loads with dockets attached. You approve, it sends.
Get early access and we'll show Otto running a cartage week — bookings, run sheets, dockets and invoices — in 20 minutes.
Get early accessFor plumbers, sparkies, builders and every trade in between: Mouswerk turns enquiries into quotes, quotes into scheduled jobs, and finished work into invoices that actually go out — fixed-price or charge-up.
Every night you're pricing jobs after dinner. Frankie drafts quotes from your price book the moment the enquiry lands — you check them from the ute.
Extra materials, extra hours, a second visit — remembered at invoice time, if at all. Capture it on site as it happens and it lands on the invoice.
Nobody becomes a tradie to send awkward payment reminders. Archie drafts polite, persistent chase-ups — you just approve them.
Here's what your AI team runs for a trade business, with you approving each step until you trust it.
Frankie prices the job from your rates and past quotes — fixed-price or estimate.
Accepted quotes get scheduled around your week. Customers get confirmations without you typing them.
Job notes, photos, materials and extra hours captured on your phone, on site.
Archie drafts the invoice — variations included — and follows up until it's paid.

Who paid a bond? Was it returned? Every hire carries its bond, condition photos and paperwork with it.
Here's what your AI team runs for a hire operation, with you approving each step until you trust it.
Frankie checks availability and books the gear — bond, rates and terms included.
Delivery or pickup scheduled, condition photos captured, hire clock started.
Overdue returns flagged, extensions offered and billed — nothing runs over for free.
Return inspected against photos, bond settled, invoice drafted for the actual duration.

Get early accessFor servicing, maintenance and repair crews on the road: Mouswerk takes the callout, schedules the right tech, captures time and parts on site, and drafts the invoice before the van's left the driveway.
Urgent callouts blow up the day's plan. Dash reshuffles the schedule and every tech's phone updates — no ring-around.
An hour here, a valve there — unrecorded on site, unbilled forever. Techs log both in seconds, on the job.
If invoicing waits for the office to catch up, cash waits too. Archie drafts it the day the job closes.
Here's what your AI team runs for a field service business, with you approving each step until you trust it.
Phone, email or txt — Frankie logs the fault, the site and the urgency.
Dash schedules by availability and location, and the customer gets an ETA.

Archie drafts the invoice from what was actually recorded. You approve, it's gone.
